Our Instructors
The art of Tang Soo Do is a family affair for the Richardson family.
Our Sah Bum Nim Master Zuberi Richardson has been training in and teaching the art of Tang Soo Do for more than 30 years. He is a superb teacher for students of all ages, levels and abilities.
Master Richardson's father, Assistant Instructor Willie Richardson, Sah Dan (4th degree Black Belt), is a former U.S. Marine and a retired Philadelphia firefighter. He also has more than 30 years of experience training in and teaching the art of Tang Soo Do.
Master Richardson's mother, Margaret Phillips-Richardson, E Dan (2nd degree Black Belt), is a retired Art Teacher in the Philadelphia School District. She also has more than 30 years of training and teaching experience in the art of Tang Soo Do.
Our Classes
We offer training classes to Tiny Tigers (children ages 4-6), Little Dragons (children ages 6-8), Youth (ages 9-13), Mixed adult classes (ages 14-70 and up!), as well as Special Needs classes, Black Belt classes and private lessons.
Richardson's Martial Arts Academy is a member studio in Region 8 of the World Tang Soo Do Association
Our studio follows all CDC COVID-19 Guidelines.
